Jayke is the Director of Operations at America’s Beauty Show.
Question: What initially got you interested in your current field of work?
Answer: To be honest, I fell into this position just before COVID, and during COVID when there were no shows, I went through and cleaned up our A2Z database. It sparked my interest in learning all aspects of A2Z and how I can streamline and make things easier for the exhibitors, speakers, and my internal team.
Question: What energizes you about your career in events?
Answer: Meeting so many different people and seeing something that takes many many months come to life.
Question: What’s the best career advice you’ve ever heard?
Answer: “Live to work, don’t work to live.” Enjoying what you’re doing (while making money) is better than just dealing with your job and making money.
Question: What’s your favorite conference/tradeshow/event to attend?
Answer: America’s Beauty Show…of course. 🙂
Question: What’s your favorite way to spend a day off?
Answer: Golfing or going to the Beach.

Answer: Suits
